I am a recent graduate of College for Creative Studies, where I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts, majoring in Advertising Design and minoring in Critical Theory. I have included a few of my award-winning student works below, alongside a few of my favorite personal projects. Take a little scroll to see some of my more conceptual work and my academic writing.
Women account for nearly half of all gamers, but harassment in multiplayer online games isolates and alienates them and makes them hesitant to participate. The thing is, when it comes to cutting down your enemies, being a bitch isn’t a weakness, it’s an advantage. The upcoming release of Diablo IV provided the perfect framework to address the misogyny that permeates the gaming community.
The Girls Are PlayHers, Too case study delves into the ever-present misogyny in gaming and shows how Diablo IV and Blizzard can be instrumental to a shift in the attitudes towards women in gaming.

Created alongside the case study was a proof-of-concept commercial for television and YouTube. Our goal was to re-frame the word “bitch,” something used so often to insinuate weakness, especially when invoked in gaming.
Except being a bitch isn’t weakness. Being a bitch means going for the kill, doing whatever it takes to rise to the top. Being a bitch is being a winner.

Keeping it natural is great… Until nobody in the office can stand being within ten feet of you because of your pungent pheromones. It’s too bad there isn’t an all-natural, aluminum-free, cruelty-free, vegan deodorant that comes in a variety of scents like Cucumber & Mint, Coconut & Vanilla, Charcoal, or even… Sea Salt & Cedar.

Liminality
I created this piece for my Performative Spaces class, one of the required courses for my degree. At the time, I had an interest in liminality and the states between consciousness, memory, and time; largely spurred on by the courses I was taking for my minor in Critical Theory and the writings of Marcel Proust.
I created this video from found footage, photography, and an audio track that I composed myself as a way to explore the themes I was reading and writing about.
